If you are planning a tea party for your little girl, arranging a princess tea party is a wonderful idea. Little girls are really fond of the princess themes and you can create a perfect party without too much effort. Theme parties are always fun and a princess tea party is all about dressing up and looking pretty.

Consider your budget

When you are arranging a princess tea party or as a matter of fact any party the first thing you have to do is set a budget. Once you have set the budget and defined different budget heads you will be able to pay more attention to details of the party and arrange everything perfectly.

You have to make sure that you do everything in such a way that your little girl and her friends remember it for a long time with fondness. When the theme is a princess tea party you have to make sure everything from invitations to decorations is in accordance with the theme.

Guest list and invitations

When you have finalized the guest list (at least one week before the party) you should send out invitations. The invitations can be in the shape of tiaras or glittery paper sprinkled with sparkles and folded in a roll tied by pink ribbons like a royal summon. To make it look grander you can print the card in some grand looking font.

You should also mention the dress code and if you are following a specific color on the card so that all the girls can show up dressed like little princesses. You can make tiaras for all the guest princesses. They can keep them as a token of the party. You can also make small take away goody bags that look like small princess pouches and place smalls trinkets like bracelets or hair clips in them.

Decorations

As for the decorations you can use pink table clothes and sprinkle shimmers on them to make them look livelier. You can use Tulle which is inexpensive and will give a fairy tale touch to the whole decor. You can wrap the chairs in tulle and tie ribbons around the back. You can place a large bowl the centre of the table and fill in with fake jewels. You can also drape and decorate the entrance way with tulle. You can also twine small colorful LED lights on the tulle to make it more colorful and bright.

For table mats you can also stencils tiaras or castles or jewels over them and add the glittery affect. You can use small china cups and deserts plates. As for the menu, you can have a lot of pastries and cakes. If your theme is pink you can have the cakes, shortcakes and desserts dressed with pink icing. This is one tea party where the guests might not be very fond of tea and you should make alternative arrangements like lemonade or chocolate milk.

To make the party more successful and if all parents agree you can prolong the party with playing the favorite Disney princess movie so the little princess can enjoy the party to the fullest.
